Zavod PIT za pomoč, pravice in zaščito živali LAJKA, DRUŠTVO ZA ZAŠČITO IN POMOČ ŽIVALIM V STISKI (You can find their information below.) Of course, there are also plenty of other organisations that do great work, and are a well-deserving recipient. It goes a long way in helping these animals. If you want to make a donation yourself, however big or small, we encourage you to do so. We have personal experience with both organisations that we will be donating to, so we can voucher for their commitment to the cause and their hard work. So every time you buy something from Alpine Princess until the rest of the year, you’re also making a small contribution towards animals who have no one.

We think that while doing so, it’s important to also try to do some good for those who are less fortunate than us. We have therefore committed to donating 1 EUR for every order made by our customers from Black Friday until the end of the year (December 31st, 2021) to two local animal welfare organisations Lajka and Zavod Pit.Įnd of November and December is the time when we shop for presents that bring joy to our loved ones. Today, he brings much joy to his family and his co-workers and, as our Chief Happiness Officer, he decided that he wants to help bring some joy to other animals who have experienced pain and suffering like he did. When he was fit enough to start looking for his forever home, he caught the eye of our founder Sandra, who adopted him. A Lajka volunteer accepted him into her home and started a long process of rehabilitation, both physical and psychological. Because he was in such bad shape, they asked for additional help from Lajka, an animal welfare organisation in Slovenia. He was lucky enough to be picked up by members of a local animal shelter, who immediately took him to a vet and paid for his urgently needed medical treatment. He couldn’t walk or eat and wouldn’t last more than another day or two if some amazing people hadn’t found him. When found, he had multiple bone fractures on his leg and pelvis from either being hit by a car or badly beaten. Maybe you’ve noticed on some of our Instagram stories that we have a furry, four-legged co-worker named Bailey, who is our Chief Happiness Officer.īailey was found as a few month old puppy, abandoned in a forest somewhere, together with his brothers and sisters.
